About Ira Grotsky
Dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that empowers individuals and families to overcome challenges and thrive.
Journey in Mental Health
Turning small steps into lasting breakthroughs
For over two decades, Ira Grotsky has dedicated his life to helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with understanding, care, and proven results. Holding dual degrees in Psychology and Special Education, Ira is both a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) and Play Therapist, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anger management, and social integration challenges.
Ira’s work is guided by CBT Heal, his personalized approach that blends evidence-based CBT techniques with attainable, goal-focused steps. Rather than tackling every challenge at once, CBT Heal breaks the process into small, measurable “mini-goals” that create a sense of success early on. These small wins help clients build confidence and resilience, making it easier to address deeper, more complex issues over time.
With offices in Beit Shemesh, Efrat and tele-therapy, Ira provides therapy that adapts to each individual’s needs:
- Children engage in play-based sessions, art, games, crafts, and outdoor activities, that encourage expression and emotional growth.
- Teens and young adults work through challenges in open, supportive conversations, often paired with hikes and other relaxed activities.
- School-age clients may be observed in their classroom environment for a full understanding of their needs and liaison with the school staff.
Parents and clients alike praise Ira’s patience, compassion, and ability to create a safe, welcoming environment. Many share that CBT Heal has given them the tools, strategies, and confidence to move forward in life with greater self-belief.
